SC Expands Client Services Practice
The firm adds dedicated Sales Services capabilities to its existing Technology Services practice, offering clients both build and sell execution.
The announcement in detail.
The expansion
SC has formally expanded its Client Consulting division to include a dedicated Sales Services practice alongside its existing Technology Services practice. The move gives clients a single firm that can both build the product and sell it. Technology teams deliver software. Sales teams deploy as fractional CROs, embedded Account Executives, and SDR/BDR functions. Both run on outcomes, not hours.
Why now
The decision followed a pattern the firm observed across engagements: clients with strong product-market fit were stalling at the sales layer. The technology worked. The market wanted it. The team could not sell it at scale. Rather than refer clients to a separate sales consultancy, SC built the capability internally, under the same standard.
The structure
The Sales Services practice is led by a Director of Sales Consulting who reports to the VP, Client Consulting. The practice operates the same engagement model as Technology Services: a Director owns strategy, Managers lead engagements, and Consultants deliver. Teams embed inside client organizations and report to client leadership.
What it means for clients
Clients can now engage SC for the full build-to-revenue cycle. A Technology team builds and ships the product. A Sales team generates pipeline and closes deals. The handoff is internal, not external. The standard does not move with conditions.
